Instant Abilities

Instant abilities complete before another ability can be inserted, including dominants.  The effect of instant abilities can only be undone if they are interrupted or negated.  They must be followed immediately or are forfeited.  See also Ongoing Abilities.

Instant abilities include:

      Band

      Capture

      Choose Blocker or Rescuer

      Convert

      Discard or Remove

      Draw or Take into Hand

      Fight Each Other

      Fortify or Place

      Interrupt or Negate Last

      Play Next Enhancement

      Poisons or Diseases

      Restore Life, Heal, or Release

      Return to Draw Pile

      Search, Reveal, or Exchange

      Set-Aside

      Withdraw from Battle
